Nobel 2024 (Falcon)
In November 2024, Artemis celebrated their very first release: Falcon. This debut EP featured some of Artemis’ earliest songs written and rehearsed in the attic of Julius’ parental home. The EP is clearly an expression of Artemis’ old sound of accessible blues-rock, but the seeds for the more modern, complex approach had already been sowed with the title track, a 7-minute ballad with a large dynamic range and climactic guitar solo.
This event in Nobel, organised by Foolcircle Events, Artemis used as the release show of this EP, the largest and most prestigious venue they had played up to that point.

Rattle the Cage @ Paard 2024
In 2024, Salesmen called together 5 bands from Leiden, Den Haag and Delft for a big collaboration: A charity song titled “Rattle the Cage” featuring Salesmen, The Nectar Effect, Troubled, LIFED and Artemis about their hopes and frustrations with the world. The release of the song was paired with a collection for Stichting Jeugdwerk, an organisation for disenfranchised youth set in Den Haag. In October of 24, all 5 bands performed the song together at PAARD in Den Haag.

Nobel 2026
On May 16’th 2026 Artemis released their first full-length studio album titled: Before the Coral Crumbles. That same night, Artemis played the release show of the album in Nobel in Leiden. The show not only entailed the performance of the songs on the album, but a complete production with a light-show, decor, transitional audios and some guest musicians. The decor - with a backdrop, drumriser-banner and 3-D printed luminous pieces of coral - made for a live, 3-D recreation of the album art designed by Teodora Aslau. The lightshow was also tailored to the thematic colours of the 10 songs on the album. From a bright white and blue for Alive to bright orange for the Acrobat to dark red in In Your Hands. In the big finale song - Fickle Mistress - Jan van Mulligen joined on the Hammond Organ and Marte Bouma won the love of the audience with a 70’s style flute solo. This show kicked off a new era in Artemis’s sound, and production value.
